Cfd ParSchool - Alessandro Ceci - Relator

Alessandro Ceci is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineer and researcher specializing in high-fidelity simulation of turbulent, high-speed aerodynamic flows. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, with research focused on advanced numerical methods, direct numerical simulations (DNS), and wall-modeling strategies for aerodynamics.

He gained industry-level CFD experience in Formula 1, working on automated aerodynamic simulation pipelines, meshing for complex geometries, correlation between CFD, wind-tunnel, and track data, and high-performance code optimization for large-scale simulations.

Alessandro’s research interests include high-speed boundary layers, shock-wave/boundary-layer interactions, and turbulence modeling. He has collaborated with important academic and industrial groups, contributing to high-performance computing (HPC) code development and high-speed aerodynamic prediction tools.
