First level Technologist CINECA HPC Dept. Giorgio Amati is a first level technologist at CINECA, HPC Dept.
His research interests are High-Performance Computing, Benchmarking and technology scouting, code optimization and parallelization mainly in CFD Area.
He is also sub-task leader in WP2-“HPC Software Engineering” in ChEESe EU Center of Excellence and was a member of High Level Support Team for Eurofusion in the CINECA-Eurofusion Collaboration. He is a co-organizer of CINECA Winter CFD School and was a teacher of more than 50 courses. He was involved in the procurement of the CINECA’s pre-exascale machine LEONARDO.
